Account Deletion

This page explains how to delete your VibeQueue account, which data is deleted, which data may be retained, and how long retained data may remain in our systems.

How to delete your account

Use the in-app flow first whenever possible.

  1. 1

Open the VibeQueue app and go to Settings.

  2. 2

Open the account section and choose Delete Account.

  3. 3

Review the warning, confirm the deletion request, and follow any final verification step.

  4. 4

If you cannot access the app, email support@vibequeue.com from the address linked to your account.

Account deletion is irreversible. Once completed, you will lose access to the account and any data that is not legally required to be retained.

What data is deleted

We remove personal data from active systems unless retention is required.

  • Your profile information, including username, email address, password credentials, date of birth, and profile photo if provided.
  • Your access to the VibeQueue account and associated sign-in data.
  • Event configuration data and account-linked usage data that is no longer required for legal, security, or payment obligations.

What data may be retained

Some records must be kept for legitimate legal and operational reasons.

  • Payment, payout, and transaction records that must be kept for accounting, tax, compliance, or dispute-resolution purposes.
  • Security and abuse-prevention logs where retention is necessary to investigate fraud, misuse, or policy violations.
  • Audio recordings or supporting evidence related to an active claim, refund, or dispute.
  • Residual encrypted backup copies that remain temporarily until they are overwritten or removed in the normal backup cycle.

Retention periods

Retention depends on the type of record and the reason it must be preserved.

  • Account data is removed from active systems once the deletion request has been processed, except where retention is required for the reasons listed above.
  • Audio recordings, where applicable, are kept for up to 30 days after the event ends, or longer if an active dispute or claim requires preservation.
  • Payment, compliance, and dispute-related records are retained only for as long as necessary to meet legal, regulatory, contractual, or operational obligations.
  • Backup copies are retained only for a limited period within secure backup systems and are deleted or overwritten as part of the regular retention cycle.
